Mr. Gensburg has also accepted the position of the Ohio Council of
Teachers of Mathematics Webmaster.

According to Rob Gress, principal of Alliance High School, "Bret
has brought many, many good things to our school and our Math department.
He had demonstrated refreshing enthusiasm, a dedicated work ethic,
outstanding content knowledge, and good interpersonal skills with
his students." Richard A. Morris, Chair of the Alliance High
School Mathematics Department, writes: "I
give Bret most of the credit for tapping the strength of an already
strong department. He has been a motivator, a cheerleader, a go-getter,
a resource and a colleague. His ideas carry weight with experienced
teachers."
Bret himself says, "I enjoy teaching, but I also enjoy sharing my growing instructional
knowledge with other math teachers. I love to see my students interact with the math;
it is so exciting to see my students having confidence in what we
are learning. I also love sharing my teaching ideas with other teachers.
Through their overwhelming positive responses, I know that I am having something
to do with learning changes in their classrooms as well as my own."
