    In Remembrance:
    Dr. Edirisooriya passed away in the summer of 2009 following a valiant struggle against cancer. He was an outstanding educational leader and role model. He was a respected researcher and scholar. He was the highest example of being a dedicated American citizen while also being a citizen of the world. He was our friend. Pax vobiscum, Gunny.
