June 15, 2009 Hello! I hope that you are enjoying your summer. I’m excited to announce that the Office of Housing & Residence Life has a new living option available for our returning and upperclass residents. Wick House, which has housed Disability Services for the past several years, will reopen as a residence hall this fall. Wick House offers unique living arrangements for 36 residents, ranging from singles to four person spaces, many with private bathrooms. Though Wick was once a residence hall for females only, we will reopen the building as a co-educational facility for residents who are ready for a change from traditional residence hall life, and are looking for a more independent, academically focused environment. Room and board fees for Wick House are the same as those charged for Cafaro, Kilcawley and Lyden Houses, and the same meal plan options are available as well. We are offering returning residents who have lived in University Housing for two or more years the first opportunity to sign up for these spaces. Please complete the online Wick House Interest Form below if you would like to be considered for a space in Wick House. Wick House preferences will be considered on a first come, first served basis, so fill out this form soon if you are interested in being a part of this new community!. I hope that you are interested in the possibility of living in Wick House. If you have any questions about Wick House or the options available to you, please feel free to contact me via email (eedriscoll@ysu.edu) or phone (330-941-3547). Enjoy the rest of your summer! Sincerely,
Erin Driscoll |
