
Anne received her Ph.D. from Michigan State University in 1970 and has taught at Stanford University and the University of Rochester. She has published articles in interdisciplinary books and journals focusing on diversity, organizational behavior processes, voluntary participation, and gender processes in task groups. She reviews for several journal, The National Science Foundation, and professional associations in Management. She consults to non-profit organizations and serves on several boards. She has also participated in management training programs with various regional businesses, and has been recognized for excellence in teaching and public service. She participates in Leadership Mahoning Valley, is a past president of the Youngstown Business and Professional Women’s Club, and is the founder of “The Bummer Fund,” a non-profit organization that supports long-term pet relationships when they are confronted with pet care needs beyond immediately available means. She has served several terms on the national Workplace Diversity Panel of the Society for Human Resources Management. She organizes community leaders in the Partners for Workplace Diversity, an alliance of nearly 30 organizations to develop diversity initiatives for the Partnership and for the community at large.
